What correction procedure does Private Pierce use?
One email-based correction procedure, identical for every vendor and every page on the site.
Use this procedure for a factual error, a source that no longer supports the words on the page, a broken citation, or an incorrect description of a vendor. The same procedure applies to every vendor and every page on the site.
How do I report an error?
Email the correction report to [email protected]; no form service is required.
- Name or link the affected page.
- Identify the sentence, table entry, citation, or vendor description that may be wrong.
- Explain the error and, when available, include the source that supports the correction.
- State the replacement wording or value you believe the page should use.
A correction report does not need to include personal information beyond what the sender chooses to put in the email.
What happens after I report an error?
Reports go to [email protected]. If a published page is corrected, the public log records the request date, affected claim, status, resolution date, and change note.
